The Lord be with you,

Fr. Kevin F. Lutz

Seminarians! Everywhere I look, Seminarians! I'm far too busy to try and trip them all, but I do my best. Usually I have any of 5 bedrooms to sleep in; now I'm relegated to the couch downstairs. See how I suffer? The displaced royalty of Europe understand my suffering.

Go to the homecoming! Go directly to the homecoming! Do not pass go! But bring $200 dollars! Ask Fr. Lutz to let you visit me. You may behold my visage for a modest donation to St. Mary's tuition fund.

Lord's Peace!

My name is Tim Lynch and I am a Seminarian studying for the Diocese of Columbus.  I am entering into my third year of Theology.  I am excited to be able to spend my summer here at St. Mary.  I look forward to getting to know you all.

This summer has been a true blessing so far. On Memorial Day I departed the United States and traveled abroad to Spain where I completed a month long pilgrimage called the El Camino de Santiago de Compastella.  It is one of the three major Catholic pilgrimages one can take, the other two being a pilgrimage to Rome and also to The Holy Land, Jerusalem.

It was a 550 mile hike/walk clear across the northern country of Spain.  I started off in the French Pyrenees, hiked over the mountains and then walked for a total of 30 days, finishing at Finestera, also known for centuries as "The end of the Earth".

I look forward to the Parish Festival as I have heard so many wonderful stories about it.

Please know of my prayers for the entire parish this summer.  I ask that you keep me in your prayers as I continue my discernment towards becoming a priest!

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam (For the Greater Glory of God)

 Tim Lynch

Harmony and Peace

At Eucharist we meet Christ and are challenged by Him in the assembly of His people. He is there to bring harmony and peace into our lives, our families, our country, our world. He comes to make us experience ourselves as His body in the world.

Best wishes for a very Happy Birthday to Father Lutz whose birthday is Sunday, July 20th.
