Anyone that would like to volunteer to serve coffee and donuts between the and Masses is asked to call Marge Smigelski at 614.871.8142. This event requires a commitment of only one (1) Sunday every couple months. Please consider offering your time and talent to this weekly gathering of our parishioners, it would be most appreciated.
REFRIGERATOR NEEDED…we are in need of a used refrigerator for use throughout the year at different fund raisers and social gatherings, with a particular need for use during our annual festival. If you can meet this need please contact the parish office. Thank you.

Grand Knight Dick Ashworth has arranged for the installation of the officers for the fraternal year 2013-2014 to be held on Sunday, August 11th here at St. Mary following the 9:00 a.m. Mass at 10:15-10:30.
BIBLE STUDY SCHEDULE
Bible study will be cancelled this week due to festival activities and set up. Regular meetings will resume on August 14th.
Are you a good neighbor? In the spirit of the Gospel, Mt. Camel Hospice volunteers are asked to use their talents to help their neighbors. These volunteers have kind hearts and a willingness to serve.
ü Opportunities are available for those who can sew, knit/crochet, write or play a musical instrument.
ü Calling all United States Veterans. If you have served in the armed forces and would now like to serve your brother or sister at end-of-life, please attend the hospice basic training in September.
ü Oftentimes, the weekends are the loneliest for our hospice patients in nursing homes. A special opportunity for couples or working people to visit those facility patients to brighten their days.
All support is welcome. All talents and abilities are appreciated. All you have to do is call Betsy at 234-0200 for more information about the ways you support your neighbors. The Basic Training Class is forming now.

Homecoming festival is set for
· Volunteers are still needed in many areas to assure the success of this festival. If you haven’t signed up yet please consider giving one to two hours of your time to this event.
OTHER FESTIVAL NOTES OF INTEREST:
· Please pick up your raffle tickets on the table along the south wall at the rear of Church. The Grand prize is $2,500.00; 2nd place $500.00.
· We will be welcoming home to Saint
Mary the Class of 1963 who will be
celebrating their 50th class reunion and the Class of 1953 celebrating their 60th class reunion. The
class of 1963 will donate the flowers that will adorn the Altar for the Mass
on Saturday, August 10th. The class of 1953 will remember the living
and deceased members of their class at Mass scheduled for

· As always the recycle bin for newspapers will be removed to accommodate festival set up. This bin was removed early this week and will be returned the week of August 12th. The recycle bin for aluminum cans will be relocated on campus property in the next week or two.
