11:45 a.m. Corpus Christi: Wednesday @ 8:30 a.m. Saint Ladislas: Tuesday @ 6:30 p.m. Please refer to “This Week in Our Parish” calendar for the weekly Mass schedule. If a Mass is shown as cancelled the Mass intention for that day will be re-scheduled. For those who wish to know the re-scheduled date please contact the parish office.

 

BIBLE STUDY….will cancel their meeting this Wednesday to accommodate our 8th grade graduation on June 5th. Regular meetings will resume on June 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Specht Center.

 

A MESSAGE TO OUR STUDENTS

Next week is the last week of school; as we prepare to say good bye to our students for the summer we wish them a safe and enjoyable summer break; we’ll look forward to welcoming you all back in August. To our graduating 8th graders our best wishes and congratulations as you move onto high school. June 4 – SENIOR CITIZENS DAY CELEBRATION

The Diocesan Senior Citizens Day Celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 1600 N. Hague Ave. Bishop Frederick F. Campbell will celebrate Mass at 10:30 a.m. Mass will be followed by a luncheon. Registration for the celebration is $10. To register, please send a check payable to the Office for Social Concerns, Catholic Diocese of Columbus, 197 E. Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. RESPONSE FOR OKLAHOMA TORNADOS

    In response to the rash of tornadic activity in central Oklahoma over the past few days, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is helping those affected. Catholic Charities’ Disaster Recovery Services is providing for immediate and long-term needs during the recovery process.  Services include: emergency assistance funds for food, shelter, clothing and other necessities; financial assistance vouchers; networking with other agencies serving those affected; and, counseling services.

    In an effort to help with the long-term recovery process, Catholic Charities OKC has set-up a disaster relief fund. All donations made to this fund will support recovery for victims no donations will be diverted for other purposes or administrative costs. To donate to the Catholic Charities Disaster Recovery Fund, visit www.catholiccharitiesok.org, call 405-523-3000, or mail donations (with “tornado recovery” in the memo line) to the diocesan finance office at 198 East Broad St, Columbus, OH. 43215, or directly to Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, 1501 N. A DAY AT THE PARK

Seniors are invited to join us for the 12th annual Franklin County Office on Aging Day with the Columbus Clippers, Wednesday, June 5th.  Enjoy a day filled with fun, entertainment and our home team. Gates open at 11:15 a.m. and game time is 12:05 p.m. as the Columbus Clippers host the Toledo Mud Hens. Fans aged 60 and over attending the event will be treated to reduced ticket prices of just $5.00 for reserved seats and $2.00 for general admission, a boxed lunch and special door prizes. Tickets must be purchased in advance.  Tickets may be obtained by calling (614) 462-5250.  Transportation is available for groups of 10 or more.

ATTENTION ALL MARRIED COUPLES CELEBRATING THEIR 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, 55th, 60th ANNIVERSARY AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER:

Jubilee of Anniversaries 2013 will be held on Sunday, June 23rd  at St. Cecilia Parish, 434 Norton Road at 2:30 p.m. The occasion includes a Mass celebrated by Bishop Frederick F. Campbell and a reception in your honor. Registration forms are available from your parish or by visiting the diocesan website at www.colsdioc.org. NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING – INFORMATION SESSION

Engaged and married couples interested in learning about Natural Family Planning (NFP) are invited to attend an information session offered by the diocese. The program includes a short audiovisual presentation about NFP and an opportunity to ask questions of a couple who practice and teach natural family planning. Join us Wednesday June 5, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Catholic Center, 197 E. Jerry Henderson will address the next Catholic Men's Luncheon Club on "

Cristo Rey is a network of high schools serving students who may not be able to afford a traditional Catholic high school and is opening Cristo Rey Columbus in August 2013. Cristo Rey offers a professional work-study program, which provides students with real world work experiences while preparing them for college and helping to offset the cost of their education.
