The Polish Community will continue the tradition of Blessing the Food on Holy Saturday, March 30th at 1:00 p.m. here. Celebrating this ceremony will be Father Eugene Linowski. An invitation has been extended to all St. Mary parishioners to join in this event.
YOUNG AT HEART

REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2013-14
Saint Mary School: Registration is now open for the 2013-14 school year for preschool, full-day kindergarten; grades K-8. St. Mary will accept Ed Choice Scholarships. Our goal is to enroll 250 students for the 2013-14 school year.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
The many facets of faith and justice will be the focus of the annual Walking Stations of the Cross. The walk begins with the opening prayer at St. Joseph Cathedral, 212 E. Broad Street, at
8:00 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013. Participants will stop at locations in downtown Columbus to recognize Jesus Christ’s suffering and crucifixion as well as reflect on a current area of social concern. HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE
· Tuesday, March 26, the Chrism Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral at 6:00 p.m. There will be no 5:30 p.m. Mass at St. Mary.
· Wednesday, March 27, all school Mass at 8:20 a.m. Stations of the Cross by our 8th graders @ 2:00 p.m.
· Holy Thursday, Mass of The Lord’s Supper at 7:00 p.m.
· Good Friday, Liturgy of the Word, Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion at 3:00 p.m.
· Holy Saturday, Easter Vigil at 8:20 p.m.
· Easter Sunday, our regular Mass schedule will be followed.
Please see the liturgical minister signup sheets at the rear of Church for Holy Week Masses and Easter Sunday, which falls on a 5th Sunday this year. We need lectors, altar servers and Eucharistic ministers for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday.
Due to Holy Week activities our regularly scheduled weekly meetings have rescheduled accordingly:
ü Bible study will suspend their meetings for the following two weeks. They will resume regular weekly meetings on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:00 p.m.
ü There is no bingo on Easter Sunday night
ü There is no coffee and doughnuts on Easter Sunday
ü The weekly series on Catholicism will be suspended during Holy week and will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
CATHOLIC YOUTH SUMMER
It is that time of year already when we are thinking ahead of summer activities for our children. If you are interested in having your child attend Catholic Youth Summer Camp please visit their web site at www.cysc.com for details and registration. Catholic Youth summer camp serves youths in middle school and high school.
CATHOLIC MEN’S LUNCHEON CLUB
Dan DeMatte, Director of Religious Ed. & Youth Ministry at St. Patrick Church, will address the next Catholic Men’s Luncheon Club on “The Mission of the Domestic Church.”
Join us Friday, April 5th at St. Patrick Church, downtown Columbus. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11:45 a.m., followed by lunch and our speaker until 1:00 p.m. No reservations necessary. $10.00 covers the lunch and meeting. Bring a friend!
