“We are Strangers No Longer: Our Journey of Hope

Continues” is the theme for National Migration

Week, January 6-12, 2013. This theme reminds us of our responsibility to help newcomers integrate in ways that are respectful, culturally sensitive and responsive to social needs, and of the ongoing need for comprehensive immigration reform. For resources, visit the U.S. Bishops’ NMW website at:

RALLY FOR LIFEon Tuesday, January 22, 12:00 noon at the Ohio Statehouse West Plaza.  2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.  Since that fateful day in 1973, more that 55 million pre-born children have lost their lives through abortion.  Greater Columbus Right to Life invites you to our annual Rally for Life to memorialize those whose lives have been lost, to express our care and concern for the mothers, fathers, and family members who continue to suffer the after-effects of their choice, and to call on our country to turn our hearts toward these children and their families.  For more information contact GCRTL at 614.445.8508 or visit our website at

Whole and Holy
We are washed clean through the waters of baptism, and daily we are invited to renew those baptismal promises—to return to the right path and to accept the forgiveness of Christ. God patiently waits for us to approach that fountain of mercy so that we can become whole and holy.

Catherine Marie Bauman
