2012-2013 RCIA

The topic of this week’s RCIA session is “Revelation, Scripture and Tradition”. The presenter will be Mike Keebaugh. Registration forms are now available for children ages 3 ½ years old thru high school for the Parish School of Religion (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd) program for St. Mary's German Village, Corpus Christi and St. Ladislas parishes. This will include sacramental preparation for First Penance, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.  Please contact Pattie Jones in the Office of Religious Formation for more information at 614-443-2828 or 614-506-6812. Forms are available beginning September 2nd at all three parishes for your convenience.  Deadline for Registration is Friday September 21, 2012.  

St. Mary will again conduct 3 parental preparation meetings for those children preparing for 1st Communion. 




The Greater Columbus community will be uniting with hundreds of cities from all 50 states in the 40 Days for Life campaign. Faithful believers are praying that this effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in America. This peaceful prayer vigil will take place at an abortion facility in Columbus between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Participants are asked to volunteer for one-hour shifts

and sign a statement of peace. For more information,



Catholic Social Services’ 20th annual Breakfast with the Bishop will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012, from 7:45 – 9:15 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom, 350 North High Street. Bishop Campbell will share his thoughts on religion in today’s society. Joining the Bishop will be Paul Pfeifer, senior associate justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio, who will share some reflections on this topic from a judicial perspective.

We encourage all parishioners to join the Bishop for breakfast and learn more about the impact you are helping Catholic Social Services make on our communities.
