BAA WEEKEND – MAY 5-6, 2012
A MESSAGE FROM FATHER FRANKS
The 2012 Bishop’s Annual Appeal will be taking place in our parish
on May 5-6, 2012. Every year the funds raised through this effort are a source of
hope and inspiration for many within our diocese. Our parish family has been
asked to raise $53,597.00 toward the Diocesan goal of $5,900.000.00. I am
asking each family to please consider a gift of at least $20.00 a month for the
next ten (10) months for a total gift of $200.00. This will allow us to reach
our goal and possibly exceed it.
This year’s BAA campaign is as important as ever in that all money
donated by the parish beyond our BAA goal will be returned to the parish and
used to perform necessary repairs of the many parish buildings, including
windows for the Church and SpechtCenter, the Church
roof, doors, the front steps and the sidewalk on 3rd Street. Please watch your
bulletin for additional information.
As a parish, we rely on each and every family to join together to
help us do our part for the vision and mission of the Church. Thank you and God
