2011-12 RCIA and BIBLE STUDY

ü  The RCIA topic this week will be “Our Vigil Experience, Stewardship and Time/Talent/Treasure”.  The presenters will be Mike and Maureen Keebaugh.

ü  Bible study will resume at 7:00 p.m.

 

NEEDED - BABY FOOD JARS

We are in need of small baby food jars for use at baptisms. If you have a new baby or know of someone that does please save your jars and ask them to do the same. You can drop them off at the parish office or leave them at the rear of church when you come to Mass.  Thank you.

 

ROBERT R. DOLDER GOLF CLASSIC

Please mark your April calendars for the first meeting of the Robert R. Dolder, Sr. Golf Classic on Tuesday, April 24th @ 6:30 p.m. at the 4S club. The YOUNG AT HEART ladies will be traveling to the St. Francis Mission in McArthur, OH on May 7th. Items needed are household products (cleaning supplies, bathroom tissue, toothpaste, etc.) and used clothing in good condition. Please contact Catherine at 614.443.6154 for additional information. To apply for the $100.00 Service Scholarship toward the cost of attending Catholic Youth Summer Camp please contact Ann Anderson at the Parish office to make arrangements to fill out the service agreement, to be signed by both parent and student. SERVICE SATURDAY

Join Catholic Social Services on May 19, 2012 for the 6th Annual Service Saturday; to help older and disabled Franklin County residents in need of help with small home repair, painting, yard work, or special projects. Visit www.colscss.org for more details.

COLUMBUS THEOLOGY ON TAP will be held on Thursday, April 12th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at EL VAQUERO (3230 Olentangy River Road). Our presenter will be Rachel Muha speaking on the topic of ‘When Bad Things Happen to Good People…A Night on Forgiveness and Reconciliation.’ The admission is free but a free will donation will be accepted for the Brian Muha Foundation.  Come join other young adults from the Diocese of Columbus to enjoy food, drinks, and a great Catholic speaker.  All you need to do is bring yourself, money for food & drink, a desire to gather and learn with other young adults.  For additional information contact us at cbustheologyontap@gmail.com. VATICAN AMBASSADOR TO BE HONORED BY JOSEPHINUM

ALLELUIA, HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED!!

Very early in the morning after the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb to anoint

Jesus’ body with precious oils. The reward of this good and conscientious steward was to be

among the first to know that Jesus had been raised from the dead! Alleluia!
