A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING

As we come to the end of our Lenten journey and prepare our hearts and minds for Holy Week let us give thanks for The Holy Catholic Church and most especially our beloved

St. Mary Parish and School.

Heavenly Father,
look upon our community of faith
which is the Church of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Help us to witness to his love
by loving all our fellow creatures without exception.
Under the guidance of those entrusted with
shepherding your children keep us faithful to Christ's mission
of calling all men and women
to your service so that there may be
"one fold and one shepherd."
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.        Amen.

In many Eastern European countries, it is a tradition to have a basket of food blessed on Holy Saturday or Easter Sunday. The Polish community will gather at St. Mary at 1:00 p.m. on Holy Saturday to Bless the Food. Our St. Mary Parish family is invited to attend.
