LEGENDS ABOUT ST. PATRICK…abound and details of his life are uncertain, but history agrees that he was humble and courageous in winning most of Ireland for Christ. This prayer that is attributed to him can be a wonderful blessing:

Christ shield me this day:

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every person who thinks of me, Christ in the eye that sees me, Christ in the ear that hears me.

When Jesus asked the Samaritan woman for a drink of water, He opened the door for a life-changing relationship with Him. Scripture says her testimony drew many others to Him as well. We, too, must be ready to respond whenever and wherever the Lord speaks to us and be prepared for it to change our lives!

If you failed to renew you Catholic Times during the Feb. promotion you can still subscribe by dropping an envelope in the collection basket marked for Catholic Times. The subscription cost is $17.00.
