As we celebrate this Thanksgiving, we here at St. Mary have much to be thankful for as we look back on 2011.
· We were blessed to have Fr. Sylvester residing and assisting in our parish during the period of Fr. Thomas’s illness. His dedication to St. Mary was a special blessing to this parish.
· Fr. Thomas was called to his eternal Home on Easter Sunday of 2011 after serving us so lovingly.
· We are now blessed to have Fr. Don Franks as our pastor, sent to us by the Holy Spirit to be our new shepherd.
· God has blessed St. Mary with so many individuals and families that have shared their gifts of time, talent and treasure. Through the generous contributions of both parishioners and those with special ties to this parish we have carpeted the Sanctuary, updated the photographs of all the pastors that have served St. Mary; replaced windows and painted the upstairs living quarters of the rectory.
With God’s daily blessings on the parishioners, supporters, staff and friends of St. Mary this year brings a truly:
