As a people of faith dedicated to the life and dignity of the human person, we must work together as a society to promote the common good and combat what Pope Benedict XVI has consistently called the “scandal of
hunger.” See the flyers on the bulletin board at the rear of church for more information.

NOTE FROM FR. SHAWN
As I have been reflecting upon the fact that my tenure as Administrator pro-tem of St. Mary Church is coming to an end, I am filled with both joy and sorrow. My joy is primarily based in the many relationships I have enjoyed and hope to continue into the future. My sorrow is simply the fact that my tenure is coming to an end. As I mentioned in my homily last week, my priesthood has been so powerfully enriched by the many individuals and families in the parish who live their faith in such a beautiful way. Thank you to everyone who has been so kind in receiving me into this wonderful community!
Another cause of my joy is the knowledge that I had a part in hiring Mrs. Luna Alsharaiha, principal of St. Mary School, and that Fr. Don Franks will be coming to serve as pastor of St. Mary Church. I leave with confidence that the whole community will be truly blessed for many years into the future under their leadership.
I ask that you might keep me in your prayers. I will continue to pray for you, thanking God and asking our Blessed Mother to protect you and obtain for each of you the grace to remain open to God’s loving will in your lives.
Fr. Shawn Corcoran
