Tim and Sue Gall would like to thank everyone that participated in or donated to the “Rally for Reilly” fund raiser that was held in May. Reilly is the grandson of Tim and Sue and is recovering from a tragic accident. Final totals have been tabulated and resulted in more than $40,000.00 going toward Reilly’s care.

v As in past years, our recycle containers will be removed from the parking lot to accommodate festival set up. The newspaper bin has been removed; the aluminum recycle container will be removed on Aug. 3rd. Both recycle containers will be back on the lot the week of August 15th.
v We will have posters in the back of the church for anyone that has a location to display these signs.
v St. Mary Library will hold its annual Used Book sale during the Homecoming Festival. Look for us near the children's games. If you have donations of gently used books to donate to our book sale, please bring them directly to our sale table at Homecoming.
v Don’t forget to get your raffle tickets in for the Saturday evening drawing. Pray for good weather and come have a good time.
Any member of the parish or school that is interested in playing volleyball this school year needs to email David Oddi at email@example.com. Volleyball is open to students entering grades 4 to 8. The fee to play is $65 or $75 if you need shorts. Practice will start in the middle of August and games start the middle of September and the season is over in early November. The deadline to sign up is Friday, August 26.

KICKING OFF THE
On August 21st following the 11:30 Mass and continuing until 3:00 p.m. there will be an ice cream social on the school front lawn (or in the gymnasium if the weather does not cooperate) to kick off the 2011-12 school year. This would be a great time to introduce yourself and welcome our new principal, Mrs. Luna Alsharaiha, and her staff as they begin a new school year. We look forward to seeing you there.
