BAA UPDATE

We are in the final week of our 2011 BAA Appeal. We will report the final figures once all pledges have been calculated. Please check the bulletin for further updates. Thanks to everyone who has made a pledge! We are still hoping to increase our parish participation, so again, it is not too late, if you have not yet done so, please prayerfully consider making a pledge to this annual appeal. 

 

HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS

The parish office will be closed on Monday, July 4th in celebration of the birth of our nation. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5th.  May God continue to bless our nation. The parish staff wishes you a safe and happy 4th of July.

 

JULY JORDAN CONFERENCE

The quarterly Jordon Conference for parents who wish to have a child baptized will be held on Tues. July 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the atrium. Please contact the parish office at 445-9668 or email Ann at ann@stmarygv.com to confirm your attendance.

Enjoy a social evening, fine food, Bishop Campbell’s keynote address, and a poignant glimpse into the heart of Bethesda. WEDDING MUSIC WORKSHOP-JULY CHANGE

Amanda Walker will hold a Wedding Music Workshop on Monday, July 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the church. This session is usually held on the third Monday of the month however, the July session has been changed to the second Monday. This change is only for the month of July.

 

HOMECOMING FESTIVAL

We are still in need of volunteers for the festival. Even if you are one of the people that volunteer year in and year out at this event, let us know, so we can quit having panic attacks! Seriously, if you know you are volunteering, let me know when and what you are doing so that we can concentrate our efforts on the time slots that need help. Thanks! ·     Lady Hawks basketball camp. All girls entering grades 4-9 next year are invited to register for the 2011 Lady Hawks Basketball Camp.  The camp will be held Monday-Thursday, July 25th-28th from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the Dick Geyer Gymnasium at Bishop Hartley High School. The cost for the

4-day camp is $80.00.
