The figures to date for our 2011 BAA appeal continue to fall short of our goal of $50,436.00. Our total pledged to date is $36,761.00. This total represents commitments by less than 13% of St. Mary parish families. If you have not yet done so, please prayerfully consider making a pledge to this annual appeal.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we are losing 2 or 3 of the coffee and doughnut teams. We REALLY need some additional volunteers. It only requires one Sunday about every two months, for less than two hours. Coffee and doughnuts have been a tradition here at St. Mary for almost 20 years and we want to continue this tradition. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING. Contact Marge Smigelski at 871-8142. We would be remiss if we didn’t take this opportunity to thank Marge and Dave for their time and effort in managing the coffee and doughnut Sundays.
ANNUAL JOIN MASS
The annual JOIN Mass of Thanksgiving for Friends and Benefactors will be celebrated by Bishop Campbell on Tuesday, June 21, at St. Joseph Cathedral at Annual awards and volunteer recognitions will follow Mass as well as a reception in the undercroft. Everyone is invited. Please join us.

Next weekend our diocese will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides the Holy Father with the funds he needs to carry out his most important charitable works. The proceeds benefit the most disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters. Through your generosity, we can cast the peace of Christ up0n the world.
May God bless all fathers – biological fathers, adoptive fathers, step-fathers, foster fathers, grandfathers, and godfathers – and inspire and guide them to lovingly model faith, patience, kindness, and generosity. Amen
