The 2011 Gala held the past weekend was enjoyed by all. Congratulations to our Gala winners: Karen Wiegandt won the $5,000 tuition raffle; the digital camera by Helen Wichham Seikel; the $100 bill by 4th grader, Griffin Hill; and the 10x raffle winner was Pam Thomas.

Throughout Lent, beginning Friday, March 11th, the 4-S Club will hold their annual fish fry from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. All you can eat fish including two sides, rolls, and desert, all for $10.00. Carry out is available, call 443-0524.
Christians throughout Columbus are invited to take part in the international 40 Days for Life effort from March 9 through April 17. In addition to 40 days of peaceful prayer and fasting for an end to abortion, please consider volunteering to pray outside of Complete Healthcare for Women, 5888 Cleveland Ave., where abortions are performed, during the 40 days, and spread the word to others about this important life-saving effort. We are excited to kick off an exciting employment outreach effort for our local community! It is absolutely free to all! Where: St. Ladislas Church.
When: Each Sunday from 1:30 -3:30 beginning March 20, 2011.
This program will consist of a several week ministry program, offering prayer, education, training and support. Topics will include resumes, job-seeking, interview prep and networking.

YOUNG at HEART
The ladies of our Young at Heart group will be making their spring trip to St. Francis Mission in McArthur in May. Items needed are: non-perishable food items, clean usable clothing, household articles, such as, toilet tissue, toothpaste, laundry detergent, paper towels and used furniture. You can drop your donations off in the vestibule or contact Betty at 444-8802 or Catherine at 443-6154 to make arrangement for larger item.
