A NOTE OF INTRODUCTION:

I know the pastor, staff and parishioners of St. Mary’s wish Jason the best for his new venture.   I too wish him well and am especially happy because of the opportunity to fill his position of Business Manager.

Hi, I’m Deacon Mickey Hawkins.  I am a permanent deacon for the Diocese of Columbus, assigned to St. Paul Parish in Westerville.  My wife, Patty, and I have 4 grown children and six grandchildren.  As Jason noted in the bulletin last week, I have “many years of experience” which is to say I’m old enough to be his father.

I am so excited to be a member of the staff and very anxious to serve the family of St. Mary’s Church with the talents God has given me in the way He chooses to meet your needs.  For the next few weeks I’ll be wandering around, so please feel free to stop me and introduce yourself.

With the intercession of St. Mary, our Blessed Mother, may we continue to be graced with the love of her Son, Jesus, as we follow in His footsteps.

Deacon Mickey
