YOUNG AT HEART FESTIVAL FOR ACTIVE SENIORS…will be celebrated on

longer lives, seniors are an important factor in the collective soul of a

extensive line-up of entertainment and more than 50 health, business and
community organization exhibitors taking part in the festival. This year's

A CALL TO SERVE….Mount Carmel Hospice is looking for people who have kind hearts and a willingness to serve their communities in various settings.
ü If you have a genuine desire to support people with life-limiting illnesses and their families, if you can offer kindness and assurance, if you are able to listen with sensitivity and respect, Mount Carmel Hospice is looking for you to join their volunteer program as a visitation volunteer.
ü A special opportunity is available to work as a volunteer greeter at the Hospice office building.
ü Opportunities are available for those wishing to share hobbies and musical talents with hospice patients.

NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING AWARENESS WEEK IS JULY 25 - 31
“Trust… God has a plan for your marriage” is the theme for this year’s observance of Natural Family Planning (NFP) Awareness Week, a time set aside by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to remind us to “celebrate and reverence God’s vision of human sexuality.” Married couples who use NFP report many benefits, including: better communication between spouses, increased patience and emotional maturity, and growth in respect for God’s gift of fertility.
