Next weekend, June 26-27, our diocese will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides the Holy Father with the assistance he needs to carry out his most important charitable works. 2010 CATHOLIC WOMAN/YOUNG CATHOLIC WOMAN OF THE YEAR
The Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) is pleased to offer you the opportunity to recognize and nominate an outstanding Catholic Woman from your parish, to be honored at our 2010 Annual Catholic Woman/Young Catholic Women of the Year Awards Event on Sunday August 22, 2010 at St. Charles Preparatory School, 5:00-9:00 p.m. This year marks the 22nd Annual Catholic Woman of the Year and the 7th Annual Young Catholic Woman of the Year awards. Help us recognize those women you know who, out of love for God, give unselfishly to Family, Parish, or Community. All women who are nominated will receive recognition from Bishop Campbell at the event. Nomination forms are available on-line at www.dccw.colsdioc.org or at the rear of the church. Details for submitting a nomination are explained on the form as certain criteria are required. Nominations are due in the DCCW office by July 26. SUMMER SPANISH CLASSES
Interested in learning conversational Spanish? Join the Spanish Classes for adults forming at Christ the King Church in Bexley, or St. Michael’s Church in Worthington. Classes are held once a week from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (Beginners) and 7:15-8:15 (Intermediate). This course will run from June 29th through Sept. 1st. 2010 BISHOP HARTLEY FOOTBALL
The Hartley Hawks will be conducting their annual youth football camp on June 29, 30 and July 1 from
9:00 a.m. to noon at the newly renovated Jack Ryan Field. The camp is available to students entering grades 3-8 and the cost is $60.00. The camp focuses on individual and group football skills for all positions as well as an emphasis on team building skills.
