It has recently come to our attention that our
parish records do not always reflect the most current information with regards
to the children born into your family. When you have a child please update your
family record by completing a CHANGE
First communion will be celebrated here Saturday, May 8th during the 4:00 mass. Please keep each of these children in your prayers as they prepare for this holy and Blessed Sacrament.
CATHOLIC COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN
Next weekend you will have the opportunity to participate in the collection for the Catholic Communication campaign. Proceeds support a wide variety of media projects that spread the Gospel message. Please use your pre-printed envelopes for your donation or note your contribution accordingly so funds can be funneled accurately.

German Village Valuable Sale, Saturday, May 15. The entire village will be hopping with shoppers and sellers. St Mary School will be selling concessions all day, serving up breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. Table rental to display your items on the front lawn of St. Mary school is available for only $25.00; sell your goodies, the profit is all yours. Contact Annie Ruefle at email@example.com to secure a table, but hurry -- space is limited. Let’s pray for a beautiful day.
We are in need of people who can volunteer to help with bingo on Sunday evenings. If you can spare one Sunday evening a month please contact the parish office at 445-9668.

BELLS of ST.
Last weekend we kicked off our Bells of St. Mary’s Appeal. In conjunction with the Bishops Annual Appeal we are raising money for historic preservation and to offset the cost of rising tuition. We are looking forward to putting new carpet inside the church and repairing the sidewalks in front the church. We have already reached our BAA goal due to the generosity of those that made a three year pledge. However, to reach our parish goal of $150,000 we need everyone to participate. Please consider giving $100/month for ten months. Any and all amounts are welcomed! Campaign cards and brochures are available in the back of church. A letter will also be arriving at your homes this week. You can mail in your pledge cards or put it in the collection basket. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
v We are once again in the planning stages for the 5th annual Golf Outing scheduled this year for Sept. 19th. All proceeds from the golf outing go toward tuition assistance.
v Our annual May Crowning event will be held on Monday, May 10th at in the church. All are welcomed to join us in this celebration of Jesus’ mother Mary.
v If you are interested in having your child participate in The Western Knights football program for the upcoming season please contact the school office at 444-8994 for a sign-up sheet. Boys in grades 3-7 are welcome to join. The deadline for signing up is May 18th.
