The MARRIAGE & FAMILY LIFE OFFICE of the DIOCESE of COLUMUBS… will conduct their Natural Family Planning 2010 Spring Workshop on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

(Couples should expect to attend all 5 sessions)

The dates are: April 27, May 11, May 25, June 15 and July 13. Sessions will be hosted by: SS. Simon and Jude Parish, West Columbus Deanery, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Cost is $60 per couple. Financial assistance is available.



Ø  St. Mary School annual FLOWER SALE sponsored by the Home & School Association is currently taking orders for its annual sale.  Order forms can be found in the back of church.  All orders are due by Friday, April 30th; flowers will be available for pick up on Friday, May 7th. Ø  St Mary Library invites all parishioners to participate in our 17th annual Family Cake Decorating Contest on Monday, May 3rd. Cakes may be decorated with either a reading/book theme, or connected to our current theme, "The Art of Reading." Cakes should be dropped off by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the contest.   Parishioners are invited to stop by on May 3rd to see all the amazing cakes; this year promises to have some real masterpieces!

Ø  Right to Read Week will climax with an art festival on Friday, May 7th beginning at 5:30 p.m.




Catholic Social Services is in need of volunteers for the upcoming Spring Service Saturday scheduled for May 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Volunteers will help the elderly and most vulnerable within our community with home improvement projects. All volunteers will meet in the St. Mary school gymnasium at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided at your work site. If you are unable to volunteer please consider making a tax deductable donation. CATHOLIC CAMPOREE….will be held on May

21-23, 2010 at St. Joseph in Somerset, OH. This year's theme is Prayer and the event will feature The Most Reverend Frederick F. Campbell! This event will also have youth led discussions, camp wide games, campfires, music with Station 14, Dead Theologians Society, contests, prizes, and MORE!  We will celebrate Mass, Reconciliation, and Adoration. Don't miss out on this fantastic weekend! The full weekend program is available for male and female youth grades 6-12.  Register for the weekend by May 13 for the Early Bird fee of only $25.00 per person! There is also a Day Program for grades 1-5. The YOUNG at HEART GROUP….will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, May 6th at 1:30 p.m. in the Specht Center.  Anyone (ladies or gentlemen) over the age of 50 is welcome to attend.
