The topic for this week is “Virtues, Gifts and Fruits/Mercy and Sin”. These sessions are held weekly in the Atrium at 7:00 p.m. You don’t have to be investigating Catholicism to attend and grow in your knowledge of our faith. 

 

JORDAN CONFERENCE

The quarterly Jordon Conference session for parents who wish to have a child baptized will be held on January 27, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Atrium. Please contact the parish office at

GREATER COLUMBUS RIGHT TO LIFE

Are you looking for a way to become more involved in local pro-life activities this year?  Do you want to participate in the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil but are hesitant to commit because you don't know what to expect?  Please attend the Greater Columbus Right to Life orientation and training session on Saturday, January 31 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the St. Michael Church parish library at 5750 N. High Street in Worthington. A discussion about ways to get involved will be held from 9:30-10:30, followed by information on the 40 Days for Life Campaign from 10:30 until 11:30.  Please attend both or either session. Questions will be addressed and admission is free. For February we will be reading a book titled “Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust” written by Immaculee Ilibagiza. The Author will be the main speaker at this year’s Catholic Women’s Conference. Immaculee Ilibagiza is an internationally known speaker and Rwandan holocaust survivor. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. between the 9:00 and 11:30 Masses in the  St. Mary School Cafeteria for "Coffee & Donuts" and Book Club discussion. Please have the entire book read so we don't spoil anything for you. CATHOLIC YOUTH SUMMER CAMP, INC….will host “Jeremiah’s Call”, a one-day youth ministry event for Middle School students in grades 6 – 8, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, downtown Columbus, on January 31st. The event will focus on the common call to holiness and the unique challenges middle school aged students face in living this call out in today’s world. Dynamic keynote presentations, inspiring testimonies, informative and motivational workshops, humorous skits and dramas, praise and worship, prayer, food, fun, fellowship and more!
