Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic faith? The Rite of Christian Initiation (R.C.I.A) might be for you! If you are looking to become Catholic, be confirmed or need a refresher, then consider joining us starting in August. Our first session is an informal cookout on Aug. 20th at on the Rectory patio. For more information and to sign up call or email Jason Shanks at firstname.lastname@example.org or 445-9668. All past RCIA participants are invited to help with the cookout and welcome our newest inquirers.
R.C.I.C.—Rite of Christian Initiation of Children will be started this fall. This program is for children who have not received the Sacraments of Baptism or First Communion. It is also for children who are not Catholic, but would like to be so. We are in urgent need of one or two dedicated instructors. Please call Jason at 445-9668 for more information or if you are willing to serve as an instructor for this important ministry.

BINGO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our parish bingo workers have helped the parish a great deal over the years, but we need some more volunteers. Your commitment can be just one Sunday a month, and there is no smoking in the gym to cause health problems. Please call the parish office at 445-9668.
FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION
After all the masses next weekend, volunteers from our south side food pantry will be at the doors to accept contributions for their work with the needy. In difficult economic times, the needs are great at the pantry. One box of food can feed a needy family as their resources run out at the end of the month. This is a once-a-year appeal.
