R.C.I.C.—Rite of Christian Initiation of Children will be started this fall. This program is for children who have not received the Sacraments of Baptism or First Communion. It is also for children who are not Catholic, but would like to be so. We are in need of one or two dedicated instructors. Please call Jason in the parish office for more information.

JULY PLANNING SESSIONS
July 13, 20 and 27, at all interested parishioners are invited to participate in a parish self
study authored by the diocese. We will take the results of our study to a
meeting with our fellow deanery parishes (St. Mary Groveport, St. Ladislas,

We are in the planning phases to start a young adult group here at St. Mary’s. A core team is forming of three committees: socials, social justice/concerns, and theology/spirituality. If you are interested in being a part of any of these committees or if you are interested in helping get this important ministry off the ground please attend the planning meeting on Wed. END OF YEAR SCHOOL NEWS
The end of the school year has arrived. We have had a very good year with the students’ progress reflected in their work and skill levels achieved. On Tuesday, we graduated 30 eighth graders. We wish them well in their new schools.
A new hire for the second
grade position is Miss Erin Burkett. She comes to us as a new graduate from The
Ohio State University. She has her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education. Miss
Burkett has been associated with the Tomorrow’s Teachers Scholars Program. She has coaching experience in volleyball,
basketball and high school softball. We welcome Miss Burkett to
