Attention All Young Adults: Mark your calendars for Tuesday May 8, 2007 from 7:30-9:00pm.  Young adults from across the diocese are meeting here at St. Mary’s rectory for a social, and a presentation by Father Thomas on “Being Catholic in the Workplace” with discussion and conversation after.  This is a great way to meet other young adults in our parish and diocese and a great way to learn more about our faith.  For more information and to RSVP contact Jason Shanks at or call 445-9668.

St. Mary School Notes…

·       Registration for the 2007-08 school year - grades PK through 8 is underway. If you would like an application or more information about St. Mary School please call the school office at 444-8994.

·       St. Mary Home & School Association will once again be holding its annual Spring Flower Sale. Order forms are available in the back of church; all orders due in by Thursday, April 26. Flowers will be delivered on Thursday, May 10.

·       St Mary School Advisory Board (SAB) has one opening for a 3 year term that starts this May.  SAB meets monthly during the school year with Sr. Regina and Fr. Thomas and acts in an advisory capacity. Active parishioners who are interested in the school should email or call president Ruth Mullowney-Agra for more details or to nominate themselves call 445- 6814 or Parish wide elections will be held during Masses the weekend on April 28th and 29th.

St. Mary Library invites all parishioners to participate in our 14th annual Family Cake Decorating Contest, Thursday, April 26th as part of our Right to Read Week celebration. Our theme this year is based on the 1960’s: “Reading Power!” Families may bake and decorate a cake based on a book or a reading theme. Lots of prizes! Parishioners are also invited to view or purchase cakes on display during the school day, 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Family Reading Festival Friday, April 27, 6 – 8 p.m. in the school gym for preschoolers to 3rd grade. All are welcome. Call the school library for more details at 443-2532.

Annual Senior Citizen’s Day with the Bishop! Please join us for the 30th annual diocesan Senior Citizen’s Day Celebration with the bishop on Tuesday, May 8th at St. Catherine Catholic church, 500 S.
