Dear parishioners,

Thank you so much for the wonderful send-off you gave me on Monday night.  It was really touching to see so many of you come to the Mass and reception.  Thanks for your generous gifts and for the wonderful travel voucher you gave me - I'm sure I'll have a great vacation this year, thanks to you!

I am especially grateful for all of your care, prayers, and love.  St. Mary's will always have a very special place in my heart.  May God bless and be with all of you always!

Sincerely in Christ Jesus,

Fr. Mark Hammond

Torson is an Assistant Professor of Theology and Chaplain at Lewis University (sponsored by the Christian Brothers) in Romeoville (suburban Chicago), IL. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics at Loyola University Chicago with interests in virtue and narrative ethics.
