NO Coffee & Donuts Easter Sunday
FROM THE PASTOR
Holy Week is here! Today we celebrate Palm Sunday, when we recall the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, followed very closely by His passion, death on the cross, and resurrection. I invite everyone to truly make this a “holy week” in your hearts and homes. Certainly, one excellent way to do this is to participate in our services this week. On Thursday, we will celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at . Following this Mass, there will be an opportunity to adore the Lord in the Holy Eucharist until . On Good Friday, we will celebrate the Lord’s passion beginning at . The Easter Vigil will begin Saturday at , and our Easter Sunday Masses will be at the normal times of and . These are moving liturgies, as we celebrate the great mysteries of our faith. I hope everyone can participate, so please come pray with us!
Let us also pray for those who will be baptized and/or admitted into full communion with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Their pictures are on the board in the back of church. We are very pleased that so many have participated in the RCIA this year. Thanks to the leadership of Mike and Maureen Keebaugh, we really have an excellent program. Let us pray that the good work that God has begun in all of our candidates and catechumens will indeed be brought to completion.
Please know of my prayers for God’s continued blessing upon all of us here at St. Mary’s. I humbly ask for your prayers for me as well.
Sincerely in Christ,
